Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs is seeking an RN for night shift in the Acute Care Float Pool. This full-time role covers 72 hours per pay period across two weeks, with a nights schedule and onsite duties.

The position offers competitive hourly pay between $35.29 and $54.71 plus a float pool differential and a dedicated night shift incentive of $1,600 per quarter ($6,400 annually). BLS certification and RN licensure required, with at least 6 months RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board-approved nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date. Card must be valid through sixty days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in a high-acuity Acute Care setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and patient-centered care across shifts.
• Model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
