Job summary

Kindred Hospital Westminster is a 109-bed long-term acute care hospital providing in-depth care for extended recovery. The RN role involves planning and delivery of direct/indirect patient care, coordinating with physicians and staff, and supporting discharge planning to enhance patient outcomes.

The position requires current RN licensure, nursing education, and BCLS/ACLS certifications as applicable. Prior medical/surgical experience in acute care is preferred, with emphasis on patient safety

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the standard of nursing care and implements hospital policies.
• Directs and supervises nursing care to patients.
• Documents patient assessments and plans in the medical record.
• Administers medications following five rights of administration.
• Performs treatments and supports discharge planning.
