$35.00/hr - $54.00/hr

Job Description

Location: UCHealth Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, US:CO: Woodland Park

Department: PPRH Medical Surgical Unit

FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour, dependent on relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state-approved nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
• At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.

Responsibilities and Environment

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practices.
• Precept new healthcare staff and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Work includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Clinical educators support ongoing education and competency validation.
