Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking registered nurses for acute care units. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate patient care, collaborating with the care team, and supporting families throughout the shift.

Opportunities span Ortho Trauma, Med/Surg, Neuro Trauma, Cardiac Telemetry, Oncology, and more within our acute care framework. Sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 plus relocation benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS for units with telemetry monitoring.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
• RN assesses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting patients and families.
