Qualifications

• Current license by the North Carolina Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures.
• Assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns, and summarizes concerns for Clinical Unit Manager.
