Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7p-7a Critical Care Unit to provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. The role requires ACLS/BLS certification, CCU experience or formal critical care training, and a commitment to patient-centered care within a large, not-for-profit health system.

The incumbent will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with hospital policies while supporting the mission

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire or already completed.
• BLS completed.
• Intermediate EKG Course completed.
• Critical Care Course if no prior CCU experience.
• Stroke requirements completed.
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in the CCU.
• Addresses needs of critically ill patients across the age spectrum.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures and supports department mission and values.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Always the right career direction.**## **Job Description Summary**Uses the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care provided to individuals in a Critical Care Unit (e.g., NCCU, CVICU, CCU). Actively accepts, understands, and practices appropriate standards of critical care nursing. Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and department.
