Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on the 6th Floor Neuroscience/Med-Surg Unit at our North Naples campus. The role involves direct nursing care, leadership, and participation in quality improvement activities.

The RN will coordinate care delivery, provide patient teaching, and collaborate with the inter-professional team.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or APRN in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• New to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.

Responsibilities

6th Floor Neuroscience/ Med-Surg Unit is a 32 private bed unit at our North Naples campus, that treats a diverse population of patients that may include general medical conditions, surgical procedures, or significant neurological conditions (i.e., stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis). This department is known for providing excellence in primary stroke care, as certified by the Joint Commission. Job Summary

The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
