Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 West Cardiac Tele/Post-Angio unit at our North Naples campus. This role provides direct nursing care, plans and evaluates care using standards and policies, and participates in teaching and leadership activities with minimal supervision.

The position requires Florida RN or APRN licensure, BLS certification, and computer literacy. New graduates may enter the RN Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or APRN in Florida.
• BLS certification required from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• New-to-practice RNs invited to RN Residency Program.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.

Responsibilities

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT At NCH

3 West Cardiac Tele/Post-Angio is a 19 bed unit (18 private, 1 semi-private) at our North Naples campus. Out of the 19 beds, 6 beds are designated for post-angio (post cardiac catheterization patients). 3 West treats a diverse population of patients that may include general medical conditions, surgical procedures, and cardiac conditions.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• All new to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
