Job summary

Providence Care Center in Ohio is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full Time, 3rd shift. The campus near Lake Erie offers senior living services and a team focused on Compassion, Inclusion, Integrity, Excellence, and Collaboration.

You will deliver safe, therapeutic resident care from admission to discharge, in collaboration with the physician and multi-disciplinary team, using the nursing process to restore residents’ abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification required/maintained.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and therapeutic resident care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and the multi-disciplinary team.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process to maximize residents’ abilities.
• Act as a positive clinical role model for staff and as a resource.

Job Responsibilities:

The RN is accountable for the delivery of safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in collaboration with the physician, family and other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team. Delivery of quality nursing care is assured through utilization of the nursing process. The goal of resident care shall be toward restoring and maintaining each resident’s capabilities at their maximum mental and physical level. The RN serves as a positive clinical role model for staff as well as a resource person.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current license for Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
• Currently certified in CPR
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
