Job summary

Providence Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Mercy Fitzgerald, a 129-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, is hiring an RN for part-time evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) with every-other-weekend coverage. Daily Pay is offered and starting pay ranges from $37 to $46 per hour (all inclusive).

The RN will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and ensure care plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
