Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) across its Iowa communities. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and support unit operations to ensure resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

RN license in good standing (Iowa)
CPR Certification current and valid
Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations and laws
Strong commitment to compassionate, respectful patient care

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit ensuring quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider and interdisciplinary team for high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with residents and families about care needs.
Document care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols at all times
