Job summary

Atrium Health Union - Nursing: IU Medical Unit is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a 24-hour-per-week schedule. Shifts are 7p-7a, two 12-hour nights, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice where the RN is providing services.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice within the unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and patient records.
• Promote a culture of safety and effective communication among staff.
