Job summary

The RN will provide safe, holistic nursing care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and uphold standards of practice while meeting licensure requirements and maintaining patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in English language, verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way; integrates knowledge and skills to meet patient and family needs.
• Performs clinical assessments and develops care plans with patient education and discharge planning.
• Communicates and collaborates with the health care team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure quality care.
• Delivers care within licensure scope and uses evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Documents all patient care activities per standards and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
