Job summary
FMOL Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in Baton Rouge to provide holistic, evidence-based nursing care full-time. You will perform assessments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to plan and implement treatment, discharge planning, and follow-up as needed.
The role requires an accredited nursing degree and current Louisiana RN license with BLS. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 supports a commitment to compassionate patient care within a faith-informed health system.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program.
- Current Louisiana RN license and BLS certification.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe therapeutic nursing care in a holistic, systematic manner.
- Perform assessments and develop plans of care with patient education.
- Coordinate care with the health team and document activities.
- Engage in discharge planning and family education as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care based on outcomes.
- Support quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrate professional development and leadership within the unit.
