Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Daytona is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to provide 1:1 care to pediatric and adult patients across Volusia and Flagler Counties. Ventilator experience is preferred but not required; in-house training is offered. We have full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities across day, night and weekend shifts.

Active RN license in Florida, current health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, and BLS are required. One year RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and documents effectiveness.

Hourly Pay: $28-$30 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Daytona is hiring for Registered Nurses (RN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in a 1:1 capacity throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties.

Ventilator experienced preferred but not required as Maxim offers an in house training program. We have full time, part time and per diem opportunities available for a variety of shifts including: 8-12 hour shifts for days, nights and weekends; some shifts are subject to an increased pay.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
