Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Saint Cloud, Florida. This full-time position requires ventilator experience and offers competitive pay with weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, initiating plans of care, and coordinating with physicians. Must hold an RN license in the practicing state, current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and a current BLS

Qualifications

• Current RN license for practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate per RN contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• At least 1 year of RN experience required.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments, monitors effectiveness, and documents results.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Salary: $32 - $35 / per hour

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required


• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change


• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals


• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor


• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention


• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.


• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).


• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• ONE YEAR prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.


• Proficient in English
