The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support. This role serves as a clinical leader and resource for nursing staff while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Ensure delivery of quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination.
Conduct rounds and provide clinical guidance to staff.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
Support infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.
Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
