Job summary

St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in Roslyn, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit.

You will monitor, assess, and deliver high-acuity care for critically ill patients as part of an interdisciplinary team, partnering with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes. Requirements include BSN, NY RN license, 1+ year telemetry, ability to interpret cardiac rhythms; BLS/ACLS; CCRN or BC-CVRN preferred.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending Physicians, Critical Care APPs, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Requirements

• Passion for Critical Care Unit
• 1+ years of experience in telemetry with ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Experience reading cardiac monitors
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced life support ( ACLS) required – American Heart Association
• Certification: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred or Cardio-Vascular Registered Nurse (BC-CVRN)

Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $82.03 /Hr.

The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
