Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is hiring for a Night Shift RN on a 12-hour schedule (7pm to 7:30am) in the United States.

The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes, and collaborates with other disciplines on the assigned unit.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years Med/Surg experience preferred.
  • Experience with oncology patients including chemotherapy administration preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current BLS required.
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate preferred or completion within four months of hire.
  • Oncology nurse certification preferred.
  • Current Registration in New York State as an RN; Diploma and Licensure required. BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
  • Nights: 7pm–7:30am with every other weekend & holidays.

Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Nights w/ eo wknd & hols; 7pm -7:30 am Salary Range: $59.144/hr - $68.028/hr (Commensurate with Education)

Requirements
  • -1-2 year's Med/Surg experience preferred.
  • -Experience with oncology patients including chemotherapy administration preferred.
  • -Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • -Current BLS required.
  • - Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate preferred or successful completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course within four months of hire.
  • -Oncology nurse certification preferred.
  • -Current Registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required. BSN preferred.
