Baptist Health in Richmond, KY is seeking a part-time Cardiovascular Lab-RN on first shift in the Noninvasive Lab. The role supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, alongside a team of professionals, including nurses, technicians, and rehab specialists.

The position emphasizes direct patient care, care planning, and coordination, with weekend/holiday on-call requirements and a focus on quality, compassionate care.

Competenze

• Registered nursing licensure with eligibility to work in Kentucky.
• BLS certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Cardiovascular Lab-RN

Part Time I First Shift

Cardiovascular I Richmon, Ky

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and supporting improved quality of life for patients. This unit, composed of registered nurses, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists, provides high-quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, our Cardiac Rehab program helps patients recover and improve their heart health following a cardiac event.

Description:

• Assessment of patients' needs.
• Development of patient care plans.
• Provision of direct care.
• Management of patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership skills.
• Support for quality care.
• Customer relations and a healing environment.
• On call requirement weekends/holidays picked by rotation.
• Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
