Job summary

Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, VT is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct patient care per recognized standards and collaborate with the care team under provider orders.

Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays is required. Candidates should have ED and triage experience, Vermont RN licensure, ACLS, and ENPC/TNCC/CEN preferred to support high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department and triage experience.
• Current RN licensure by the State of Vermont.
• ACLS certification required; ENPC TNCC CEN preferred.

Job description

Gifford Medical Center is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to work in our Emergency Department in our Randolph, VT location.
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care according to recognized nursing techniques and standards in conjunction with provider orders. You will actively participate in a team-oriented approach to care for the patient, while communicating in a positive and professional manner. The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for educating the patient and family appropriately, clearly, and concisely.
The successful applicant will have strong time management abilities, and critical thinking skills. Applicant must have flexibility to work varying shifts to include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum of one-year Emergency Department and triage experience required
• Current RN licensure by the State of Vermont
• ACLs certification
• ENPC TNCC CEN Preferred
