Lucie, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health treatment team. The RN provides direct patient care, supervises nursing staff, supports crisis intervention, and contributes to patient treatment and recovery. The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, CPR and CPI certifications, and has experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license required.
• Current CPR and CPI Certifications required.
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and crisis intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care for behavioral health patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies
• Supervise LPNs, Mental Health Technicians, and support staff
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate patients regarding medications, wellness, and recovery
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medical records
• Support patient safety, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient assessments
