Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for in-home, 1:1 patient care in the Port Matilda area. You will provide direct nursing care per the plan of care and monitor patient progress with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, and documenting changes; collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. Licensure, CPR/BLS/First Aid, and dependable transportation are required, with ventilator experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state for this position.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
• Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required.

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider’s prescribed plan of care.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed.
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids with thorough documentation.
• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Collaborate with providers and other health professionals to ensure patient outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse(RN) you will

• Providein-homedirect patient care according to theprovider’sprescribed plan of care (and nursingscope of practice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery.
• Assessand document patient conditions and reportchangeas needed (vitals,blood/stool/urine, glucose,etc.)
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV fluids:documenting thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Assess patient for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc. and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

To qualify for a Registered Nurse(RN) position with us

• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse(RN) in the state associated with this position
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
