Job summary

Gulf Valor Rehabilitation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to supervise CNAs, collaborate with the IDT, and ensure timely assessments and physician rounds. You will manage medical documentation, care plans, and resident monitoring in a faith-based setting that emphasizes care for the caregiver.

Active RN license in good standing and prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care are preferred; we support growth and comprehensive benefits in a positive work

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with IDT to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation.
• Initiate consultations or referrals based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and facility standards.
• Monitor resident condition changes and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse

What You Will Do

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) under the direction of the Director of Nursing




• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans




• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time




• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review




• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs




• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports




• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards




• Monitor residents for changes in condition (e.g., confusion, fever, breathing difficulty, pain, appetite changes, mobility loss) and notify providers as needed




• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

What You Must Have

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.




• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
