Job summary

Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team caring for patients with SCI, TBI, and neurological conditions. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families to deliver individualized, evidence-informed care.

This part-time night shift (1830-1700) offers a competitive hourly wage with night/weekend differentials and opportunities for advancement through our Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• Colorado RN license or eligibility required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• ACLS and CN/RN specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care aligned with ANA ethics.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized plans with the team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and self-management.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and ensure smooth transitions.
• Administer medications and monitor efficacy/adverse effects.

Position Summary

Location: 3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113

Shift: Part‑time; Nights; 1830-1700 (6:30 pm - 7:00 am MST)

Compensation: $36.93/ hour — $53.18/hour; plus applicable shift differentials for nights and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Craig’s standards and the ANA Code of Ethics
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on care plans, goals, and long‑term self‑management techniques
• Coordinate care with team members across disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity
• Safely administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Apply principles of infection prevention and patient safety to every interaction
• Supervise and delegate to unlicensed staff and students as appropriate
• Support orientation of new staff and participate in precepting when assigned
• Actively participate in Shared Governance, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team‑oriented unit culture

What We Are Looking For

Licensure & Certification

• Current Colorado RN license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS and relevant specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN) preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN required within 18 months of hire (CCNE or NLNAC-accredited program preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred
• Experience in neuroscience, acute med‑surg, or rehabilitation strongly desired
