Job summary

Crouse Medical Practice in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse to promote and restore patients' health by following the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The role supports daily operations under the Clinical Manager, fostering quality care and cost-effective patient interactions.

Candidate must hold NY RN licensure and BLS; a BSN is preferred. The practice offers a supportive team, growth opportunities, and affiliation with Crouse Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited nursing school, preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
• Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions.
• Understanding of documentation standards.
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment.
• Works well in a team setting and demonstrates strong cooperation skills.
• Skill in reading and following written and oral medical orders.
• Skill in initiating appropriate emergency procedures.
• Skill in handling a number of tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in a physician office, preferred.

Position Description:

The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, acts as a resource for clinical support and management staff. Effectively works with the providers, managers and staff to promote quality and cost effective daily operations. Establishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public and co-workers. This position works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate successful patient interaction with the practice team. This position reflects and carries forward the mission and goals of the practice both internally and throughout the community.
