Job summary

Crouse Medical Practice in East Syracuse, NY seeks a Registered Nurse to support patient care in a fast-growing medical practice. You will promote health through nursing processes, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to efficient daily operations.

The role requires NY RN licensure and BLS certification, with a preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing. Monday–Friday days, 8:00am–4:30pm, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Acts as a resource for clinical support and management staff under the Clinical Manager.
• Collaborates with providers, managers and staff to promote quality and cost-effective daily operations.

Position Description The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, acts as a resource for clinical support and management staff. Effectively works with the providers, managers and staff to promote quality and cost effective daily operations. Establishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public and co-workers. This position works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate successful patient interaction with the practice team. This position reflects and carries forward the mission and goals of the practice both internally and throughout the community.

Requirements

• Education/Certification/Licensure




• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.


• Current Basic Life Support certification.
  

• Experience/Skills/Proficiencies:




• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing from an accredited nursing school, preferred.


• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.


• Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functions.


• Understanding of documentation standards.


• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatment.


• Works well in a team setting and demonstrates strong cooperation skills.


• Skill in reading and following written and oral medical orders.


• Skill in initiating appropriate emergency procedures.


• Skill in handling a number of tasks simultaneously.


• Experience in a physician office, preferred.
  

Pay Range: $33.00 - 43.70
