Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse is a licensed health care provider who delivers nursing care under the direction of the RN and/or provider. The LPN supports the smooth operation of the practice by attending to clinical tasks and patient care within a collaborative team.

This position offers a Monday–Friday work week with no mandatory overtime, generous benefits, annual salary increases, and opportunities for professional growth within a fast-growing medical practice affiliated with Crouse Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure as a Practical Nurse in New York.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Familiarity with health care regulations, policies, and functions.
• Understanding of documentation standards.
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials used for medical treatment.
• Ability to work in a team and cooperate with others.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral medical orders.
• Ability to initiate emergency procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in a physician office, preferred.

Position Description:
