Job summary

Highland Park Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing Facility in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a compassionate RN to provide high-quality clinical care for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will support recovery and daily wellness, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure personalized, dignified care.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing. We offer full-time and PRN shifts with competitive pay of $46.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with comprehensive

Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Associates degree in nursing (ADN) or BSN preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Experience as RN in a nursing community preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents
  • Support residents in recovery and daily wellness

Work Schedule: Full-Time and PRN Shifts Available

Come join our in-house therapy team at the beautiful Highland Park Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing facility, in Aurora Colorado. Our 110-bed facility houses a resident demographic from varying acuity, giving you the opportunity to assist in the betterment of all walks of life amongst those we steward.

JOB SUMMARY

In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in their recovery and daily wellness, and collaborate with a interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

JOB DUTIES
  • Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
  • Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
  • Collaborates with the residents and members of the healthcare team
  • Records the administration of medication
  • Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
  • Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
  • Performs other duties as directed
REQUIREMENTS /EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • An Associates Degree (ADN); Bachelor Degree (BSN) - Preferred
  • An active RN license
  • Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community – Preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
  • The ability to work flexible hours
