Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required.
  • An active RN/LPN license.
  • 2+ years' experience as an RN/LPN in a nursing community preferred.
  • Desire to care for residents and act with integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care and support residents in recovery and daily wellness.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure personalized, dignified care.
  • Record administration of medications and follow safety procedures.
  • Develop and ensure nursing care plans with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
  • Monitor staff and ensure compliance with regulations and facility procedures.

JOB SUMMARY

In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in their recovery and daily wellness, and collaborate with a interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

JOB DUTIES
  • Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
  • Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
  • Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
  • Records the administration of medication
  • Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
  • Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
  • Performs other duties as directed
  • And any other tasks assigned to you with or without notice by nurse management or NHA.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE
  • Associates Degree
  • An active RN/LPN license
  • 2+ years' experience as an RN/LPNin a nursing community preferred
  • The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
  • The ability to work flexible hours
