St John's Lutheran Community in Minnesota is seeking an RN for Staff Development and Infection Preventionist duties. You will educate staff, oversee competencies, assist new employees, and coordinate ongoing professional education.

Infection prevention responsibilities include implementing and monitoring an infection control program aligned with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines, ensuring safety and compliance across care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have current MN RN license and CPR certification.
• Certification in infection prevention and control or willingness to get it.
• Wound certification or willingness to get certified.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Demonstrate strong leadership by actively inspiring staff to upgrade their skills and clinical knowledge, ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
• Understanding and following state and federal guidelines.

RN Staff Development/Infection Preventionist has multi responsibilities: as Staff Development you are responsible for educating staff, overseeing competencies and following state and federal guidelines. Assisting new employees and continuing education for current employees. As Infection Preventionist you are responsible for the implementation and on-going monitoring of an infection control program based on clinical standards of practice and clinical guidelines, as well as regulatory compliance.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have current MN RN license and CPR certification.
• Certification in infection prevention and control or willingness to get it.
