Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Public Safety Consultant to join our Services team. In this customer-facing role, you will oversee RMS configuration and business process analysis across Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, and Warrants for public safety agencies.

You will train agencies, guide change management, and drive product adoption to deliver continual value. You have 2–5 years of RMS-focused experience, are hands-on in planning and delivery, and can lead cross-functional change efforts.

Responsibilities

• Leverage RMS knowledge to optimize public safety agency operations.
• Operate in a consultative capacity, ensuring product features, workflows, and configurations are defined and tested.
• Oversee configuration and business process analysis across RMS work streams (Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, Warrants).
• Train agencies on best practices with the Mark43 RMS product suite and guide adoption processes.
• Establish RMS workstream best practices across Mark43 customers and oversee implementation.
• Support end-to-end testing of RMS workstreams, integrations, and hardware components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide change management and deploy new features successfully.
• Gather product feedback and work with Product to set development priorities.
• Assist growth by vetting customer workflows for downstream planning.
• Coordinate with project managers for staffing, budgeting, and risk reporting.
• Update training materials with the Training team to improve onboarding.

We are looking for a Public Safety Consultant who specializes in Records Management System (RMS) products and workflows to join our Services team. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration and business process analysis across the full spectrum of public safety agencies. You'll work on a variety of products such as Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, and Warrants. You'll operate in a consultative capacity and ensure product features, workflows, and technical configurations are defined and tested for each agency. Additionally, you will help train agencies on best practices with the Mark43 RMS product suite, guide change management, and product adoption processes to get users comfortable with the product and drive continual value. This position requires at least 50% travel.

What You'll Do:

• Leverage your specialized knowledge in Records Management System (RMS) products and workflows to optimize public safety agency operations.


• Operate in a consultative capacity, ensuring product features, workflows, and technical configurations are defined and tested for each agency.


• Oversee the configuration and business process analysis across the full spectrum of public safety agencies, working on products such as Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, and Warrants.


• Train agencies on best practices with the Mark43 RMS product suite, guiding change management and product adoption processes to drive continual value.


• Establish processes to deliver RMS workstream best practices across all Mark43 customers and oversee the RMS implementation of the product.


• Help oversee end-to-end testing of RMS workstreams, integrations, and hardware components.


• Work with various stakeholders to help guide change management best practices and ensure new features are successfully deployed and understood.


• Gather product feedback and work with the Product team to help establish development priorities.


• Assist growth by vetting customer workflows for downstream planning.


• Work with Mark43 project managers to convey key team metrics and project risks to assist in staffing, budgeting, and future team planning.


• Work with the Training team to update training materials to deliver an outstanding training experience.

Who You Are:

• You have at least two to five (2 to 5) years of experience working as a product consultant or public safety employee, with a focus on RMS.


• You are willing to be hands-on during planning and delivery.


• You have experience developing, communicating, and training on workflows and best practices.


• You are a skilled communicator and can create buy-in across diverse groups of users and lead change management efforts.


• You have experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.


• You embrace technology and can quickly learn new features and determine how they can benefit various user groups.


• You have excellent interpersonal skills and are skilled at multitasking.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, with the higher end reserved for those with more relevant experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, experience, and geographic location.
