Job summary

Rosenbauer-America is seeking a Pump Assembler to build water pump apparatus using basic and specialty hand tools, manage part inventory, and coordinate work schedules with the delivery of pieces. You will install generators, TIG/MIG weld plumbing, route plumbing through the truck, fabricate brackets, and test the assembled pump to meet specifications.

The role requires welding experience and blueprint literacy, with potential overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years MIG and TIG welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel preferred.
• Welding certificate preferred.
• Able to read blueprints/spec books and tape measures.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump components to build a working pump apparatus.
• Route plumbing through the truck and weld plumbing with TIG.
• Install generators in dunnage tubs and fabricate brackets to hold plumbing.
• Test the assembled pump to ensure it meets specifications and quality requirements.
• Mount the pump onto the fire truck as per build specifications.

The Pump Assembler manages the inventory of parts and coordinates the work schedule with the delivery of pieces. Also, the Pump Assembler will utilize basic and specialty hand tools to assemble all pieces of the water pump together.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAll employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
