Job summary

Rosenbauer America in Minnesota seeks a Pump Assembler to build water pump assemblies for fire apparatus, using basic and specialty hand tools. The role includes inventory management and coordinating work flow to ensure timely delivery of pump components.

Responsibilities

Assembles pump components together to make a working pump apparatus.
Routes plumbing through the truck and TIG weld plumbing together.
Installs generators in dunnage tubs.
Fabricates brackets to hold plumbing and MIG weld them in place.
Tests built pump to ensure that the apparatus meets all the specifications and quality requirements.
Mounts pump onto the fire truck according to the specifications of the build.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
