Job summary

Ampersand Solutions Group, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator to deploy and harden RHEL systems within the CRN architecture. You will implement DISA STIGs, maintain RMF artifacts, and support FISMA-compliant operations for Army program requirements.

Responsibilities include deploying RHEL, patch management, log review, and troubleshooting. You will work with VMware vSphere and OpenShift, conducting vulnerability assessments and coordinating with cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Experience implementing RMF accreditation and FISMA artifacts.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, including baseline setup.
• Apply DISA STIGs and SRGs and maintain compliance documentation.
• Perform routine sysadmin tasks: patching, config, log review, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy Linux VMs in VMware vSphere and OpenShift, including OS-level troubleshooting.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using SCAP, Nessus, and Evaluate-STIG.
• Assist ISSO with RMF documentation and POA&M coordination with cybersecurity.
