Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support our Federal customer onsite at Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will perform IA audits, assess RMF controls, and help maintain C&A documentation.

The role requires active Secret clearance (US citizenship) and experience with RMF, eMASS, ACAS, and DISA STIGs. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and deliver clear written and oral reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance; US citizenship required
• 2 years with BS/BA, 0 years with MS/MA, 6 years no degree
• Experience with RMF 800-53 controls and DoD audits
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs and security requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine IA audits on IS to ensure RMF controls are applied
• Assist with continuous monitoring of RMF packages in eMASS
• Prepare artifacts and documentation for RMF/C&A
• Create, edit and review security documentation and SOPs
• Analyze findings and report to leadership for mitigation
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned by management
