Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to support RMF-based security for a DoD program at Quantico, VA. This on-site position requires an Active Secret clearance, DoD 8570-M/8140-M IAT Level II certification, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.

You will perform RMF steps, prepare SSPs and SA&A packages, review vulnerability scans (ACAS/Nessus), manage eMASS, coordinate remediation, and communicate with ISSOs and

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required with DoD RMF knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in cyber security.
• Experience with DoD A&A processes and NIST SP 800-53.

Responsibilities

• Interface with PMs, SMEs, and ISSMs on major enclave issues.
• Drive RMF lifecycle steps: Prepare, Categorize, Select, Implement, Assess, Authorize, Monitor.
• Create/maintain security packages in eMASS.
• Review vulnerability scans (ACAS/Nessus) and coordinate remediation.
• Bridge technical engineers, ISSOs, and leadership.
• Track POA&M items, RMF status, ATOs, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure documentation compliance and support multiple ATOs.
• Prepare briefs and A&A documents for RMF reporting.
• Perform ISSO Type duties per DoD 8510/8500.
• Provide risk mitigation strategies and conduct security risk assessments.
