Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring an RME Operator in Akron, OH to support the RME team with on-the-job learning of maintenance for conveyance systems and building technologies. No prior electrical or mechanical experience is required.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, jam clearance, replacement of parts per maintenance manuals, and testing, while ensuring safety standards. Training is provided in a cutting-edge facility with a safety-first culture and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Blue Badge Amazon Employee.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• 1+ years of technical problem-solving experience.
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
• Replace spare parts on equipment following SOPs (site dependent).
• Use a laptop/tablet to manage work orders.
• Use basic workshop tools.
