Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's RME team is expanding with a new RMEO role that supports day-to-day maintenance of conveyance, material handling equipment, and site technology. You will learn to maintain and repair equipment and use a laptop/tablet to manage work orders to keep processes moving.

The role focuses on learning basic maintenance activities across the site, including inspection, jam clearing, parts replacement, and following safety guidelines, with no heavy prior electrical or mechanical

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Amazon Blue Badge employment experience.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
• Replace spare parts on equipment following standard procedures.
• Use a laptop/tablet for managing work orders.
• Use basic workshop tools.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending, lifting, reaching.
