Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an RME Operator in Jacksonville, FL, to support high–performance manufacturing systems and robotics work cells. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and follow safety protocols to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1+ years of PC software experience and vocational/technical training or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to enroll in and attend a 9-week training program at designated providers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to while installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells to maintain equipment availability and process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, motor starters, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate activities with upstream and downstream operations partners.
• Complete work assignments based on technical documents and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive equipment reliability and efficiency.
