Job summary

JLL in Oak Creek, WI is seeking an RME Operator to support high-speed packaging and distribution systems. You will apply electrical, mechanical, and automation knowledge to install, maintain, and repair complex equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The role offers hands-on learning, opportunities to troubleshoot robotics and conveyance systems, and collaboration with experienced technicians. Schedule flexibility, safety focus, and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• PC software experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement reading/interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, holidays.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to reason about physical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety regulations while installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging/distribution equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment per plans and manuals.
• Troubleshoot robotics and robotic work cells to maintain equipment availability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and related equipment.
• Coordinate activities with journey workers and upstream/downstream operations partners.
• Complete work based on technical documents and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive reliability.
• Schedule may include standing, bending, lifting up to 49 lbs when required.
