Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an RME Operator to support the maintenance and repair of high‑performance packaging and distribution equipment at our on-site facility in Monee, IL. You’ll work with robotics, motors, sensors, and conveyance systems, ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or higher is preferred.
• 1+ years of RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) experience is acceptable.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and mathematics.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be eligible to enroll in a 9-week training program at designated providers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety regulations while installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair robotics and robotic work cells to maintain equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, and related components.
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate with upstream/downstream operations.
