Job summary

Amazon seeks an ELM Project Manager to lead end-to-end project lifecycles for new launches in the Central RME team. You will coordinate engineering, product, and operations to deliver on time with high quality, while developing detailed plans and risk mitigation strategies.

Role requires up to 75% nationwide travel and working from a corporate office when not traveling. Relocation assistance may be provided and eligibility varies by location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and MS Project.
• Experience with automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
• Understanding of performance metrics such as OEE, downtime, throughput or quality.
• Experience with third-party vendor management is a plus; Six Sigma/lean manufacturing knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for new launches, including requirements gathering, planning, and deployment.
• Own large-scale engineering projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and launch support.
• Assess and communicate project status; escalate risks and delays across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed plans, schedules, and milestones with clear cross-functional ownership.
• Create risk mitigation and business continuity plans with site RME teams.
• Plan resources and coordinate project teams for on-time delivery.
• Support RME qualification processes and vendor management as needed.
• Prepare launch plans for new sites and assist field teams with executions.
