Job summary

Amazon is seeking an ELM Project Manager for the Central RME team to drive end-to-end project lifecycles for new launches. This role requires strong project management and technical acumen, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes, with up to 75% nationwide travel and office presence when not traveling.

Candidates should be able to relocate or live nearby, with relocation assistance potentially provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial, operations, manufacturing, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with performance metrics such as OEE, downtime, throughput, or quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for new launches, including requirements gathering, planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and deployment.
• Own large-scale engineering projects from planning through installation, commissioning, qualification, and launch support.
• Assess and communicate project status; escalate risks and delays across teams.
