Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate Trader focused on residential mortgages and RMBS.

The role involves sourcing collateral, analyzing relative value, and executing transactions while collaborating with Sales, Trading, Structuring, and Research teams to align collateral strategy with market execution and balance sheet goals. The candidate will engage with investors and lenders, develop pricing views, and contribute to the growth of the platform within Consumer & Community Banking

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to articulate market views to varied audiences.
Strong interest in financial markets and pricing dynamics.
Translate market and transaction data into actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.
Intellectual curiosity to develop expertise in residential mortgages and securitized products.

Responsibilities

Drive collateral sourcing and market engagement with investors, lenders, and internal partners.
Analyze collateral attributes, cash flows, and structural features to inform pricing, execution, and risk transfer outcomes.
Develop and communicate relative value views and actionable trade ideas for distribution and execution.
Support securitizations and related capital markets transactions.
Monitor pipeline, inventory, hedging, and desk performance; identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare materials on performance, strategy, and market opportunities for senior stakeholders.
Build analytical frameworks, tools, and processes to improve decision-making and scalability.
