Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Associate Trader focused on residential mortgages and RMBS within the Consumer & Community Banking Capital Markets – Portfolio team.

You will source collateral, analyze relative value, and execute transactions, coordinating with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Research, and origination teams to align collateral strategy with market execution. You will engage with investors and lenders, build models, and contribute to the growth of the residential securitization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Interest in financial markets and drivers of pricing, liquidity, and relative value.
• Ability to translate market and collateral data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive collateral sourcing and market engagement with investors, correspondent lenders, and internal partners
• Analyze collateral attributes, cash flows, and structural features to inform pricing and risk transfer
• Develop and communicate relative value views and actionable trade ideas
• Support RMBS securitizations and related capital markets transactions
• Monitor pipeline, inventory, hedging, and desk performance; identify key drivers and risks
• Prepare materials on performance, strategy, and market opportunities for senior stakeholders
• Build analytical frameworks and tools to improve decision-making
