Job summary

DWS is seeking a Structured Finance Analyst to support the research, analysis, and ongoing surveillance of CMBS and RMBS. Based in New York, you will join the Structured Finance Team within the Americas investment division and cover a range of products including open-end mutual funds and managed accounts.

Key tasks include evaluating new issues and monitoring existing holdings, building cash-flow models, reviewing memoranda, and maintaining data integrity in portfolio systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in CMBS/RMBS structures and surveillance.
• Strong Excel and industry tools like Intex, Trepp, Bloomberg.
• Prior rating agency or buy-side experience preferred.
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist evaluating new issue transactions and surveil existing RMBS/CMBS.
• Formulate investment recommendations based on relative value.
• Review offering memoranda and interpret provisions.
• Underwrite collateral including cash flows, DSCR, LTV.
• Build and maintain cash flow models to assess structure and credit.
• Maintain data integrity in portfolio management and trading systems.
