Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing partners with a prominent asset manager to hire a Structured Products Analyst for their investment team in New York. The role focuses on underwriting CRE collateral, evaluating credit structures, and identifying relative value across real estate opportunities.

You will contribute to screening through execution and ongoing monitoring, performing market research, and supporting senior members on complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in financial services such as banking, insurance, REITs, specialty finance, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, or research.
• Ability to evaluate real estate investments using multiple valuation methodologies and an understanding of key market drivers.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial real estate collateral and analyze credit, securities structure, and relative value.
• Evaluate a broad range of real estate credit opportunities, including new-issue and secondary CMBS (performing and distressed), loan acquisitions, REIT debt, and special situations.

You will be a core contributor to the investment process across commercial real estate lending and securities, working on opportunities from initial screening through execution and ongoing monitoring.
