Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a full-time RMA Technician II to process, test, troubleshoot, and document customer-returned hardware in line with quality and safety standards.

The role includes disposition of RMAs, identifying defects, and contributing to continuous improvement across the RMA department. You will support production, quality, and engineering teams, train less experienced colleagues, and maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience with RMA receiving, bulk processing, testing, device analysis, and system transactions.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics or hardware with a structured approach.
• Experience creating or maintaining process documents and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and route returned products; perform bulk processing, labeling, packing, and inventory transactions
• Evaluate and troubleshoot customer-returned hardware using hand tools, test equipment, and approved diagnostic methods
• Test, verify, and rework products to production-level quality and specifications
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate RMA inventory records
• Identify defects, recurring issues, and process gaps; escalate safety or operational concerns
• Create failure-analysis records and document symptoms, test results, repair actions, and dispositions clearly
• Work with Vendors to coordinate repair and refurbishment of devices
• Contribute to process documentation and training
• Follow health and safety requirements and 5S practices
