Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced RMA Engineer to resolve product quality issues from customer RMAs. You will evaluate returned devices at system and device levels using ATE, X-ray, CSAM, and IV curve tracing, driving root-cause analysis and cross-functional fixes.

You will lead customer-facing investigations, coordinate with Design, Test, Manufacturing, and other teams, and push for process improvements to reduce No Fault Found and improve overall quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or related field; 4+ years Reliability Engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years experience.
• PhD in Engineering or related field; 2+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and drive major customer issues to resolution.
• Conduct technical evaluations of customer returned devices at system and device level.
• Lead debug and data-gathering activities with cross-functional teams.
• Track actions, schedules and owners to maintain RMA analysis cycle time.
• Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly problem-solving updates for stakeholders.
• Define priority among customer corrective actions and guide internal implementation.
